After completing Rush the boldness of the pattern stayed with me. I felt moved to explore the pattern on a more condensed scale, stripping back the raw emotion imbued within the colour choice. The result is, predictably, more neutral, but not completely without colour. The chosen thread is DMC 939, a deep shade of Navy blue. The depth of colour is almost imperceptible, but this choice is softer than the much harsher black thread.
